Reprinted: Old-School Sensibilities

Once a story is published, it can be hard to find another place to republish and expose a new audience to it. Most journals want previously unpublished stories, which makes sense. However, there are so many great stories that are published every year that older stories can sometimes get lost. Journals that consider republishing stories are a wonderful way to bring a beloved story back to the forefront. When I started reading about Radon Journal and their interest in transhumanist stories, I immediately thought about my previously published story, “Old-School Sensibilities,” and its society where body augmentation was normal and even encouraged. Radon Journal was a great fit and better yet, they took previously published work. Not only that, they have an active, thoughtful community of writers, readers, and editors. I am so excited that Radon Journal included “Old-School Sensibilities” in their 2nd issue, and I’m even more excited that my story can reach a new group of readers. I hope you enjoy reading it, whether it’s your first or millionth time!
