Published: “Schrodinger’s House”

I started writing poetry again as a break from prose writing, a kind of creativity reset. Poetry has always been my first love. However, I’ve noticed that the more I write poetry, the more I enjoy it. Plus I’ve started developing my own style, which is surprising and delightful to see happening. Part of that style is that I like to interweave my thoughts of science, technology, and philosophy into poetry about my personal life and thoughts. “Schrodinger’s House” is an early iteration of my constantly evolving style. I think it’s nerdy, slightly irreverent, and a lot of fun, which is why I submitted it to Coastal Shelf‘s Funny & Poignant Poetry Contest (FuPo, for short). It seems they liked it as well, as the poem ended up being a semi-finalist! I was honored to be published in their Contest Issue (Issue 5), alongside so many other talented poets (who have a tremendous knack for interesting titles; I must learn!). I hope you enjoy reading all the great poetry! As always, let me know your thoughts.
