Not many people know I’m a collector; even less know of my stamp collection, though I collected stamps way before I collected anything else. I guess you could call it my gateway drug into the world of collecting and collectors. While monetarily speaking, my stamp collection is worth very little beyond face value (for the unused stamps), it’s definitely one of the things I’d save during an evacuation (after my husband, cat, purse, and laptop). It’s definitely a major part of my identity, which is what I wrote about in “A Eulogy in Stamps” for DNA Magazine. I’m honored that DNA Magazine liked what I wrote and have published it in their second issue. Enjoy and be sure to check out the other pieces in the issue!
